Salam Support is a student-led nonprofit focused on providing medical aid to underserved Muslim communities. Since launching in early 2025, we’ve completed our first major initiative — the Spring 2025 Medical Aid Drive, where we distributed hygiene kits to local Brooklyn masjids and community members in need.
Our founding chapter is based at James Madison High School in Brooklyn, NY, where our team of student leaders organizes drives, raises funds, and leads outreach efforts. We’re committed to building real-world impact from the ground up, with a focus on consistency, compassion, and community-driven solutions.
This is just the beginning. With new chapters forming and more projects on the horizon, we’re working to officially register as a nonprofit by Summer 2025, inshaAllah. We’re always open to collaboration and excited to grow alongside others who share our mission.
Salam Support was founded by a team of dedicated students passionate about making a real difference. While our club has quickly grown to include many volunteers across our school, these core members helped launch and shape the mission from the start. Together, we work to organize projects, raise awareness, and deliver medical aid to underserved Muslim communities.
We are proud to be building a movement of young people committed to service, impact, and hope.
Salam Support’s first official chapter was founded at James Madison High School in Brooklyn, NY, where a team of dedicated student leaders launched the Spring 2025 Medical Aid Drive. These students now lead our projects, fundraising efforts, and community outreach.
From coordinating donations to assembling health kits and building awareness, they are the heart of our mission.
Our first official drive marked a powerful beginning for Salam Support. With the help of 16 donors, we raised $500 and assembled 50 complete medical and hygiene kits for underserved communities across Brooklyn. These kits included essentials like bandages, masks, hand sanitizer, and toothbrushes — all packed by students from our James Madison High School chapter.
This initiative wasn’t just about supplies — it was about showing what youth-led service can accomplish. It brought students together, sparked action, and proved that even a small team can deliver real impact.
Salam Support is growing — and you can be part of the movement.
We’re now accepting applications from students who want to open their own chapter. If you care about healthcare access, community impact, and real service, starting a chapter is your chance to lead something meaningful in your school or masjid.
As a chapter leader, you’ll get:
You don’t need a big team or a huge budget — just dedication and a willingness to lead with purpose.
Thank you for your interest in Salam Support! Whether you want to donate, volunteer, or partner with us, we’re excited to have you join our journey.
If you have any questions, ideas, or want to get involved, feel free to reach out. Send us an email and a member of our team will get back to you as soon as possible. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of children who need it most.
