Salam Support is a student-led nonprofit initiative focused on delivering medical aid to children in underserved Muslim communities. Founded in 2025, we are currently in the early stages of building our first major project: a Spring 2025 hygiene kit drive.
Our team is based at James Madison High School in Brooklyn, NY, where we launched our first official school chapter. We are actively fundraising, assembling medical kits, and working to collaborate with trusted community partners to ensure safe distribution.
While we are still in the beginning phases and have not yet completed a full project, our goal is to prove that youth-led initiatives can create real, measurable impact. With community support, we aim to officially register as a nonprofit by Summer 2025, inshaAllah.
Salam Support was founded by a team of dedicated students passionate about making a real difference. While our club has quickly grown to include many volunteers across our school, these core members helped launch and shape the mission from the start. Together, we work to organize projects, raise awareness, and deliver medical aid to underserved Muslim communities.

At Salam Support, being a Change Maker means joining a team of passionate students dedicated to making a real difference. Our mission is to deliver medical aid to children in need across Muslim communities, and we believe that with teamwork and vision, we can achieve meaningful change.
Right now, we are building a team of creative minds — especially clothing designers — to help launch our future online webstore. Funds from our merchandise will directly support our medical aid and global initiatives. In addition to this, members will also have opportunities to help organize community fundraising events like bake sales, car washes, and more.
